'Houses with a red wall' by Lockyer Alsop
This oil on canvas is a Lowry inspired piece named 'Houses with a red wall' by Graham Lockyer Alsop, in a chunky rustic black and gold wooden frame.
Lockyer Alsop is a self taught artist heavily influenced by the likes of L.S. Lowry, Theodore Major, Markie Robinson and Lawrence Isherwood. Up until 1997 he was an antique dealer, but after a spinal injury Alsop had to readjust his career and stumbled into the world of art dealing. This lead to art restoration and ultimatley producing his own art work, as can be found here.
