How Peggy's started
It wasn't meant to be a music venue.
Peggy's started in January 2017 as an antiques and vintage business, run from our living room. It moved through a shed, two shipping containers and a unit at Welch Mill before arriving at The Stables in August 2021.
When the antiques trade took a bit of a mad turn after Brexit, we had to think fast. We put on a few small gigs, people enjoyed them and Peggy's slowly began to evolve into the venue it is today.

Inside the room
This is what the room
actually looks like.
These are real photographs taken at gigs here. It's a small room and we're not pretending otherwise. That's part of what makes it Peggy's.
